Full Roof Refurbishment Putney

The Scope of Works

We started by stripping back the existing coverings, giving us the chance to take a proper look at the structure underneath. A handful of minor structural repairs were identified and carried out at this stage, making sure the foundations of the roof were in sound condition before anything new went on top.

With the timbers put right, we installed a new breathable membrane and fresh battens across the full roof area. This gave us a solid, modern base to work from before recovering the roof and renewing all the ridges to finish the roofline off neatly.

Leadwork and Chimney Repairs

Good detailing is what separates a roof that lasts from one that causes problems a few years down the line. We renewed the leadwork throughout, making sure every flashing, valley, and junction was properly dressed and fully watertight. The chimney also had targeted repairs as part of the works, bringing it back up to a standard in keeping with the rest of the refurbishment.

The Result

The finished roof is fully weatherproof, structurally sound, and looking tidy from top to bottom. Our client can now draw a line under years of patch repairs and worry, knowing the property is properly protected for the long haul.
